A multi-course program covering the full analysis process: asking the right questions, preparing and cleaning data, analyzing it with SQL and spreadsheets, visualizing it in Tableau, and presenting findings. It finishes with a capstone case study.
Verify credential ↗I'm from Ireland and recently moved to Vancouver, where I'm looking for my first role in data analytics.
My background is in tech support, and that's where I got into working with data. As a tech support engineer at MDI Medical, I resolved client issues remotely and on-site. There was no system for tracking support cases, so I built one in Excel, logging the details of every case. That record let me spot recurring issues, which I escalated to the software providers so they could be fixed at the source. Along the way I found I enjoyed digging into the numbers as much as solving the problems.
I have a BSc (Hons) in Computing in Software Development and the Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate. This portfolio is where I share what I build as I keep developing my skills, with new projects added as I go.
I'm looking for data analyst roles in Vancouver. I'd love to hear from you.
